Season 7

           For those who have been following, as you can see each episode has something dramatic occur either to the hospital as a whole or an individual colleague. But Season 7 deals with the entire hospital, when there is a shooter loose in the building. This shooter is out for revenge as he walks the premise of Seattle Grace. Daily tasks of the hospital are in action when an armed civilian looks for Chief Webber, who signed off on the surgery that killed the shooter’s wife. Mean less to say, the surgery itself had no complications it was just his wife’s heart could not with hold the surgery and just gave up. But still he did not think that through and was out to get anyone who was involved in the procedure. Interns, nurses, and head surgeons were all at risk, while this man lurked the hallways.

            A code was called in dire situations like this and the staff thought that it was a drill instead of it being a real situation to take caution in. So they continued on their daily tasks such as preforming surgery and post ops. Many of the interns and their residents had no clue of the emergency until the shooter walks into the operating room that his wife was pronounced dead and started his rampage. He started with a gun to a nurse, killed her, and threatened to shoot Cristina Yang’s brains out if she did not let the patient on the table die just like his wife did. But Cristina’s duty is NOT to let her patient die on her time, and hesitantly continued the procedure with the gun to her head. Finally help came and took the man down but the hospital is still shaken over the whole incident, Cristina is the one who will live with this PTSD for the next season.
